One of the squad's newest members, Artem has arguably the most incredible story of the lot. He only began running in February, 2019, and using some online training programs ran the Gold Coast Marathon five months later in 4.00 and then backed up to run the Sydney Marathon 10 weeks later in 3.13, after which time he joined our squad. Originally from Russia before moving to Australia 10 years ago, Artem is our Man of Steel, loves the big kilometres and loves to push his limits. He crashed through the three-hour barrier with a 2.55 at the Dubai Marathon in January, 2020, – less than 12 months after he took up the sport.
