One of the founding fathers of the squad and perhaps our most successful athlete over time. Matt won multiple Open Queensland gold medals in cross country, 3000m and 5000m, making a name for himself as a tough competitor who was brave enough to take the lead a long way from home. His career in finance has taken him to New York for the foreseeable future, but Matt will always be a Distance Culture man.
